Clubhouse Manager position available for Baseball team. Position requires knowledge of all aspects of managing clubhouse from handling of equipment and uniforms, cleaning and maintaining and working directly with the team in all aspects of game operations. Position is seasonal and requires employment from approx April 15 thru Sept 15. Position requires employment during all home games during 2017 season
Wild Thing Mascot Job Description
The Washington Wild Things are currently looking for a part time mascot. Performances include weekdays and weekends from March-September. A flexible in schedule is a must. Will work under direction of Assistant General Manager and Promotions Coordinator to endure all appearances and task are attended and performed to the highest level.
• Perform as the Wild Thing at community appearances during the off season
• Commit to appearances on the weekends
• Maintain the Wild Thing mascot suit
• Assist in creating routines for promotional entertainment
• Must have a current driver’s license
• Positive Attitude
• Time Management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to follow instructions
• Strong teamwork mentality
• Outgoing and creative personality with a willingness and desire to have fun
This is a part time position that will require candidate to attend an average of 3 appearances per week at places like schools, parades, community events.

The mission of the Washington Wild Things’ internship program is to educate its participants in all aspects of operating a professional sports organization, by observation and getting real hands-on experience. Interns learn how to work in a professional environment that requires a high energy level, the ability to perform under pressure and the utilization of essential time management skills. The Washington Wild Things strive to successfully prepare interns to compete for positions in the professional sports industry.
Wild Things Interns:
We are currently looking for full-time in a variety of departments. Full-time interns will be expected to work the same hours as the front office staff, including office hours, game nights and weekends. At least 40 hours a week is expected. Interns will be assigned to a specific department but will be able to help as need in others:
· Ticket Operations
· Ballpark Operations
· Media Relations
· Production/ Promotions
· Community Outreach
· Food and Beverage
· Outside Events
The Wild Things are looking for an outgoing, go getter personality to handle multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate will learn all aspects of running a professional franchise, such as: sales, marketing, operations, ticketing, customer service and more. We are looking for hard-working candidates that aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
